Stupid Question

I'm wondering is it just me that thinks the AG prices on ebay are crazy? Not counting the retired or pms. I'm talking about everything that you can still go to AG and buy. IMO the items are usually used and shouldn't cost the same or more then a new item. Shouldn't it cost you like half or less then the new item? I just saw the AG doll jewerly book there that I could of gotten at Sams today. I have items I'm watching but they usually go for much more then I'm willing to pay. Just wondering what others think?

I've wondered about that, too. The explanation I've seen here is that there are people with money in paypal accounts who use that money to buy on ebay. I guess in return for being able to do so, they're willing to pay higher prices in at least some cases.

Yes, it is crazy. It's the mystery of e-Bay.

Another reason why some pay higher prices on e-Bay is because some sellers will ship internationally which AG doesn't do.
